Got married on November 10th. 04. My wife and I eloped because everyone was making a fuss over where to have our wedding. She is from Pittsburgh, PA and I am from Salisbury, NC. So to make a long story short Barbara and I just up and went and got married while on a vacation together.

President Bill Thompson retired a few days after this photo was taken. We will miss him after 30 years of service to Boys Home and The Boys and Girls Homes. To Boys Home Boys he is like a father to us. We hope he will join our Alumni Group and bring in some of the older staff members of Boys Home. Many guys have a strong bond with their previous counselors and housemothers. To complete our circle of tracing our history we welcome his involvement. A reunion is filled with the excitement of seeing our friends from many years ago, but many tears have followed by such a tramatic emotional response. I was on campus for the Chaple Dedication, it was a special time but my emotions got the best of me. I hope all BHB's be blessed in their lives.
